This story is probably no surprise to anybody with any amount of commonsense. It’s disturbing that the bogus Iraq WMD and Al Quaeda stories continued for so long. On the other hand, it’s not hard to believe that 259 of these lies were told by dubya himself. I certainly wouldn’t trust the guy. After 9/11 the American people were certainly vulnerable. The Bush administration exploited that vulnerability in their efforts to stage unnecessary and most likely illegal acts of war.
