Everybody enjoys free merchandise. Whether you get a free sample handed to you in the grocery store to promote a new food item, or if you’re getting a free sample in your mail box. Everyone loves it. There are even people who have dedicated a full time job to finding freebies that they can get. Sometimes the freebies are useless to the person, but they could sell them to make some money.

There are thousands of ways that one can get free stuff, especially with the inclusion of the internet. Companies hand out freebies at a regular pace as a form of advertising. Subscribing to newsletters and websites can lead to free offers and merchandise from those companies or their subsidiaries. Websites that offer printable coupons for various popular restaurants and grocery stores are plentiful. With the keyword of FREE in your search terms, millions of pages will be displayed containing information on how to receive free stuff.

Being able to get a free trial of a product is one way to get free things. If you sign up with different companies to be a trial tester, you could be awarded a free game system, free food, free clothing and tons of other stuff. In general, advertisers are paid to bring leads into a company. They are usually paid a set amount for each lead. Companies want more people so they allow advertisers to rewards people with free stuff in order to get them to sign up with their company.

One thing companies are known to do is contact overstock and get a ton of items for cheap or almost free. Then they simply require the customer to pay shipping fees. Even though having to pay shipping and handling fees technically makes the item not free, most people are ok with this. They’re ok with it because they end up spending a fraction of what it would cost to purchase the item in a regular store.

Getting free merchandise is as easy as simply registering with a website or signing up to receive their newsletter. You can also complete different surveys and get free stuff. If you just take a few hours to search around the internet, you will find free samples almost anywhere! They can range from a 2 ounce sample of skin moisturizer all the way to a full size product. Usually these offers will go pretty quickly. There are literally millions of free opportunities available to the people who are willing to look for them!

Before you order anyfree stuff online, make sure you check out Cheryl Martinez’s site for all the best free stuff.

I don’t know why I’ve been putting it off for so long but at least now I’ve gotten around to havng a look at Squidoo. Here’s my first “lens”, based on one of my favourite niche topics, australian coins. http://www.squidoo.com/rare-australian-coins-values

Once I bit the bullet I was surprised at how easy it was to plug modules together and create a page. My first attempt is probably a little rushed but now that it’s up and running I can get to work on tweaking. Who knows, maybe it will even help to make a little money. For a free site with the potential to make some income, Squidoo appears to well worth some effort.

Who wants to win some free stuff? I’ve just come across a great site for Aussies filled with offers and links to competitions with free prizes. Some of these prizes are extremely good value, such as $500 gift cards, free petrol, free plasma tv’s and much more.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of sites on the net that offer such prizes but many of them aren’t available to Australians. You can spend hours searching for free competition or survey sites only to find the fine print preventing you from entering. By going direct to Free Stuff Australia you save yourself a lot of time and get the chance to enter dozens of free competitions with valuable prizes. You’ll also find surveys that will pay you cash to complete them and lots of other offers as well.

Just on the front page alone you will see the following offers, Win a Woolworths $500 gift card, Win $5000 from Catalogue Central, Win $1500 dollars from Lightspeed Australia, get paid $25 for each survey completed at Survey panel Australia and a whole bunch more. Beyond the front page you will see dozens of links for other free stuff such as downloads, ringtones, games, memberships, reward programs etc.

Have a look at Free Stuff Australia and see what you can find. I’m trying it out to see what I can win, you can too. ;)
