1920 saw all Australian coins struck in the Australian mints. Halfpenny coins were struck in the Sydney mint as well as some pennies. The bronze coins carry no mintmark. No florins were struck in this year. The Melbourne silver coins are stamped with a small “M”. All coins carry the effigy of King George V.
The 1920 penny shows a number of variations of dot position. Coins with no dot are considered to be very rare.
