The book this story is about certainly sounds like an interesting read. I’m wondering if it tells the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. For example, a lot of Wagga people, friends and relatives of Wayne, would know who Wayne lived with in the period his mother was in Adelaide and his father was in jail. Some who don’t knowthe real story might be interested in some facts from that period, especially since it was the period when he first started playing Aussie rules. Does the book mention this period or any of these people who were an influence on Wayne in his younger years. Perhaps news.com.au could dig a little deeper.
